HelemaalShea is a small company based in De Rijp, in the province of North Holland. By hand, they create soap, shampoo bars, and zero-waste skin and hair care products. All the products are vegan, made with natural ingredients, and are mostly organic and/or fair trade. The soaps are prepared in small batches by hand, ensuring that the customer always receives fresh products.
All HelemaalShea’s products have plastic-free packaging. The soap bar utilises FSC certified cardboard boxes and aluminium cans for creams and masks. Because these materials are 100% recyclable, they can be reused and repurposed indefinitely.

Body & Face soap bar
Only natural ingredients are used in this HelemaalShea’s handcrafted soap, with lemongrass essential oils and a dash of ginger. The activated charcoal in the soap turns it black, efficiently cleansing blemished skin with blackheads and pimples. Activated charcoal draws pollutants and thoroughly cleanses the skin.
Because the soap is soft on the skin, it may be used daily and is ideal for all skin types.
Coconut bowl
Artisans make Bambaw’s coconut shell bowls in Bali, Indonesia. The coconut shells are carefully picked for their sizes and condition to be successfully upcycled into coconut bowls.
They are flattened on the bottom to keep them from wobbling, then polished with coconut oil to make them dishwasher safe. The coconut bowl is the perfect accessory to mix and prepare your clay facemask included in the skincare gift set.
Clay facemask
A combination of activated charcoal and bentonite clay is used to create this cosmetic—the perfect duo to detoxify and deep clean your skin.
On the one hand, activated charcoal is well-known for absorbing toxins and impurities from the skin. It helps reduce acne breakouts, unclog pores, improve skin health, and balance oily skin. On the other hand, Bentonite clay is made up of volcanic ash sediments that have formed naturally. It has a negative electromagnetic charge and is one of the most potent healing clays available. It acts as a magnet, attracting metals and toxins to it when activated with water.

It contains water, glycerine, saponified cocoa butter, saponified castor oil, lemongrass essential oil, kaolin clay, ginger essential oil, activated charcoal powder, saponified coconut oil, saponified olive oil, saponified sunflower oil, glycerine, water, saponified cocoa butter, saponified castor oil, lemongrass essential oil, kaolin clay, and ginger essential oil.
Reusable makeup pads
Bamboo
The bamboo fibres used for the makeup pads are naturally soft and have impressive absorption qualities.
Cotton
Thanks to its texture, cotton is a fantastic exfoliating base to massage and cleanse your skin. The scrub terry pads contain 80% bamboo rayon for better absorption qualities and 20% cotton for the exfoliating base.
Polyester
Polyester not only extends the life of the make-up pad but also provides gentleness while removing make-up. The velvet pads contain 60% bamboo fibres, 20% cotton, and 20% polyester to ensure a smooth and non-irritating touch.

The coconut shells are sculpted into bowls after being collected by farmers. The Bambaw coconut bowl’s interior and exterior is then polished to make it glossy and splinter-free. This entire procedure is done by hand, resulting in a one-of-a-kind bowl each time. All have a diameter of 12 to 15 cm and are 5 to 6 cm high.
Coconut oil
The coconut shells are then conditioned with coconut oil to ensure waterproofness and long-term preservation.
